Rumors of a rogue cypherus grem have been circulating within the community, though reports have been wildly conflicting. Many eyewitnesses are claiming that the grem has two heads, while others are insisting that here is only one. Some reports have identified its appearance as dark in color and vicious, others describing the creature as light and timid. One witness has even reported the presence of a second pair of arms. Officials are uncertain what to make of these claims, and have yet to locate the grem in question. The search continues as they attempt to dispel rumors about a splicing mishap and apprehend the grem so that it may be destroyed. We ask that you remain in your homes until the grem is captured, as this grem is being considered extremely dangerous.



This grem is the result of a splicing accident within the GremCorps labs, and now exists as two beings trapped within a single body. While the lighter colored grem appears to be the primary "host", the darker grem seems to manifest in various ways whenever the host is stressed, frightened, threatened, or angry. Generally, the dark grem will manifest as a second head, often taking control of other parts of the body (apparent by localized color shifts from light to dark at whatever part of the body they control at that time). It is possible for the dark grem to entirely overtake control of the body, overpowering and suppressing the host until no physical evidence of them remains, though this seems to only happen in cases of extreme stress.

At times, the dark grem will manifest their own limbs rather than overtaking the host's, resulting in often-grotesque displays of excess arms, eyes, tails, mouths, etc. The two grems have a clear difference in temperament, the light being timid and peaceful, the dark violent and aggressive. These clashing personalities result in control-struggles, the host naturally wishing to keep the dark grem suppressed in order to blend in and exist without conflict. Unfortunately, it seems the longer the dark is suppressed, the more restless it becomes, trying to manifest in unstable ways, especially when provoked. The host appears to cooperate to a degree with the dark grem at times, as fighting it has proven useless more often than not.

While the vessel is able to appear as either grem, do note that it is incapable of splitting and existing as both at once.
